Forget "World War Z" and the slew of other stylish zombie-ridden films slated for next year, because Seth Rogen and company are busting out with their own post-apocalyptic adventure, and this one promises what the others don't — tons of laughs and really random celebrity cameos.
For their directorial debut, "This is the End," Rogen and Evan Goldberg — both of whom have had a hand in writing and/or producing a string of cult comedies, including "Superbad" and "Pineapple Express" — rounded up a few friends (of the funny, famous, actor variety, of course) to capture their would-be struggle for survival during the end of all days.
Check out a red-band first look at "This is the End" below! (Warning: not safe for work.)
Of course, a Seth Rogen movie wouldn't be a Seth Rogen movie without the raunch, this time delivered by the likes of Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Danny McBride, Jonah Hill and Craig Robinson — all of whom are playing themselves. "Pineapple Express" crew and Baruchel aside, expect to see appearances by other really funny, talented people, including Paul Rudd, Aziz Ansari, Jason Segel, Michael Cera, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna (yes, you read that correctly) and more.
